Signs denoting Greek post offices are usually bright yellow, as are the post boxes.
All post offices in Greece are open Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 14:00pm.
When you travel to Greece and you need a letter after the above hours there are stamp vending machines and post boxes outside all Greece central post offices.
When you travel to Greece and in particular the Greek Islands they also have post office outlets as well.
Parcels sent abroad to Europe or outside Europe be inspected, so do not wrap and seal them beforehand. Brown paper, soft padded envelopes and cardboard boxes can be bought from post offices all over Greece.
