Travel to the United Kingdom by Ferry

Not surprisingly, travel to the United Kingdom via ferry boat is a busy year-round business.
From Norway, the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Belgium, and France, passengers can reach the United Kingdom through ferry travel.
The busiest of the United Kingdom ports would have to be Dover, which sees up to 50 sailings daily.
Travel time is indeed slower than by train, but in some cases, it’s the only way to reach your United Kingdom destination.
From Ireland, travel ports include Swansea, Pembroke, and Holyhead.
Note, the popular Calais-Dover route costs $25-$40 to travel to and from the United Kingdom one way.
