Tipping in Switzerland
Keep in mind the cultural differences in regards to tipping in Switzerland.
Service charges are built into menu prices in Switzerland, and it’s customary to round up the amount of the bill to tip in Switzerland.
If you’re using a credit card, give the waiter a cash tip.
Tip 1-2 Swiss Francs for luggage services at hotels. A service charge is included in taxi fares, but you can always round up when you’re happy with the service.
