Beer in Spain

Spain: Drinking - Beer

Drinking beer in Spain is a cultural experience as there is no beer that can compare. Much of the beer is 4.5 and 5.5 percent alcohol.
You will find that there will be one common beer per region of Spain and many will only have that on tap, with a non-alcohol version available.
Though most of glasses are small, in Spain, they will be full of very cold beer.

The top 5 beers found in Spain are Mahou found in Madrid and the Northwest.
Next is the Alhambra Reserva, which is stronger than most
and found in Granada.
Then we have the Estrella Galicia in Galicia and also the Northwest.
There is also the double malt Voll Damm which is primarily bought in supermarkets throughout the country.
Finally San Miguel Nostrum is a stronger beer and available almost anywhere in Spain.
