If you’re travelling through Spain, either as a tourist or simply to get to another part of Europe, you need certain paperwork. If you’re driving in Spain, you’ll need a valid license with you. Since Spain is a member of the Schengen states, a temporary visa known as the Schengen visa will allow you to travel freely around Spain. These are easy to obtain and are relatively inexpensive – for example, a 30-day visa to travel in Spain will only cost you £17.25.
