Regulations for Pets in Spain
If you can’t bear to be away from your pet on holiday and you want to take it travelling to Spain with you, you will need to adhere to certain requirements. For all pets coming into Spain, you will need either a Pet Passport or International Vaccination Health Certificate. Flying into Spain with a pet may also need special allowance from the company you’re travelling with. You will also have to prove to the authorities in Spain that you have been in control of your pet for at least 3 months. Although this paperwork can be a pain, at least it will allow you and your pet to travel through Spain together.
