Bus travel into Hungary is possible through several international lines.
With seven countries bordering Hungary, it’s not surprising that travel by bus is so available.
Train and bus travel are two of the simplest and budget-saving ways to get into Hungary.
Volánbusz is the national bus company of Hungary and has travel connections from most major European cities. Eurolines also runs coach service from the UK and with a Eurolines Pass, you can travel to any of 40 European cities, of which Budapest, Hungary, is one.
Also, regular bus and coast travel service is offered from major airports into the city, such as from Ferihegy into Budapest.
