Bordered by seven countries, Hungary is basically landlocked; however, travel is possible by a few waterways.
Primarily though, Hungary is reached by plane or train.
Direct train travel is available from its neighbors, but also possible from European countries beyond its immediate borders. Travel into Hungary is also available via car or bus, with several international coach lines traveling directly into the country
