Meals in Greece

Eating out in Greece is always a celebration with friends and families gathered together to relax, and discuss topics of the day.
Often you will see huge groups whiling away hours drinking a glass of ouzo and feasting of barbecue lamb (lamb on a spit) or fresh seafood in the taverns and restaurants.
The climate in Greece is mild most of the year allows the Greeks to dine out in the open air.
Lunch in Greece is served from 2 pm. till 3 pm.
In Greece there is the siesta time between 3pm. and 5 pm. There are a lot of cafes and cheese pie outlets in Greece, if you’re peckish a snack in between.
Dinner is usually served late between 9 pm. and 10 pm.
