Travelling with pets in Greece is easy but you have to carry with you pet vaccination certificates.
Rabies inoculation has to take place more than 12 months and for cats are six months and not less than six days prior to arrival in Greece.
As Greece is part of the European Union it has to follow the guidelines when travelling with pets.
When you travel to Greece a passport must clearly accompany the animal.
A form of a microchip should be attached with an identification number which should be included in the passport.
Lastly the veterinary vaccination certificate confirming the animal has been vaccinated against rabies.
