Customs Formalities in Greece

Travellers arriving in Greece are generally not searched. If you have nothing to declare, continue through the green line.
You are allowed to bring into Greece duty free personal belongings including clothes, most of sports equipment and camping gear.
Visitors from outside the European Union are allowed to bring up to 10 kilos of food and beverage, 50 cigars, 200 cigarettes and 250 g of tobacco.
Alcohol of a 1 litre or 2 litres of wine as well as 50 grams of perfume and 500 grams of coffee, and 100 grams of tea.
I must point out that Greece is very tough on drugs users! No weapons or explosives.
Medications for the amount prescribed for your own use are accepted.
No plants with soil are allowed for entry in Greece.
