Mont Saint-Michel is definitely a site to see when you travel in France. Mont Saint-Michel is a rocky tidal island in Normandy, roughly one kilometre from the north coast of France at the mouth of the Couesnon River near Avranches.
This is a particular place in France located outside of Dinard. It is not an easy travel to get to the Abbey. The road leading to Mont Saint Michel during high tide is impassable for travel to this France location.
The Abbey was once used by monks in the 6th and 7th centuries in Normandy France. What makes this location a wonderful travel place is the city within the abbey.
As you travel to Mont Saint Michel in France you will find a long road to the base of a mountain structure.
The city is at the base of the abbey leading up to the actual cathedral.
