Tipping in France
Tipping in France for such places as restaurants or bars is not common as they generally include the service in the bill.
You should expect to tip a hairdresser or a taxi driver in France at least 10% of what your bill totals.
Hotel stays that are longer then a few days are expected to leave some type of tip for the maid.
Be sure to tip for such things as room service as well.
The tip doesn’t have to be super generous in France but it displays gratitude for the service done.
