Travel to Austria by Air
There are six airports in Austria that you can travel into by airliner: Graz, Innsbruck, Klagenfurt, Linz, Salzburg, and Vienna.
Vienna fields the most international flights, with travel connections to and from major airports worldwide.
Due to its mountainous geography, travel into Austria by plane is also common from surrounding countries.
Domestic flights are also available, though perhaps not practical when getting around Austria can be more easily accomplished by train, bus, or car travel.
Business travel in Austria however may make use of planes. If you fly into Vienna, simply take the CAT (City+Airport+Train), which can take you to the heart of Vienna, Austria, in 20 minutes or less.
